CoSEA Bylaws

The CoSEA Bylaws are periodically reviewed and restated. The last three revisions were approved at Annual General Membership meetings on the following dates:

  • November 19, 2013
  • November 9, 2022
  • December 12, 2023

The main changes in the December 12, 2023 restatement are:

  • Reclassifying the organization as an 'Affiliate' of NAEA
  • Removing the dual membership requirement with NAEA for members.

The main changes in the November 9, 2022 restatement were:

  • To include the statement that the organization maintains compliance with the Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act,
  • To allow the Board to hold meetings via telephone or electronic media and
  • To include the immediate Past President as an officer of the Board
  • To define a quorum for the Board meeting
  • To detail officers’ duties.
