Why renew your membership? I’m glad you asked!
Our association was restructured in 2024 and offers new, Colorado-focused opportunities to excel professionally. Six improvements include:
- Vibrant, active Board of Director members - serving and mentoring.
- Executive Director Lindie Hunt - enhancing member communications.
- Colorado legislative lobbyist Heidi Morgan - monitoring Colorado tax legislation.
- New opportunities for leadership, networking, and social engagement.
- At least 10 CE credits each year.
- NAEA membership is no longer required for CoSEA membership.
Most importantly, each year, in Colorado's General Assembly, which has many new tax-centric members, CoSEA's Government Relations team calls out our legislators who sponsor tax bills masquerading as assessment fees or offer inadequate fiscal notes limiting equitable enforcement.
