Join us for a light breakfast and meet your legislators in the West Hall of the Capitol, (Floor 1)
Our goals for Legislative Day are:
- Answering our legislators’ questions about the Enrolled Agent
- Promoting transparently arrived at, equitably enforceable tax legislation.
- Supporting HB24-1041– a more unified use of Colorado’s sales and use tax simplification system (SUTS).
9:00 We will attend part of the day’s session and be recognized as a group!

The Annual Meeting was held December 12th at 4:30 pm via Zoom and in person at the Reliance Tax Group: 9737 Wadsworth Pkwy #105 Westminster, CO 80031. The agenda included voting on the COSEA Proposed By-Laws 2023 and the election of the Board.
Summary of By-Laws changes:
References to the NAEA have been removed. With the recent announcement from the NAEA, the upcoming changes to the way state affiliates and/or chapters will work with the NAEA are still to be defined.
- Code of conduct language has been added and amended that Members and associates will not represent client or withdraw from representation of client if doing so will result in a violation of the rules of professional conduct or the law. (NAEA 18A)
- Removal of 4.3.
